Ever wondered how to make money doing what you love?  For some people they’ve already reached this blissful place in life.  But for most of the people I meet,making money doing what they love is a dream that they seem to have almost given up.

With all the recent changes in our global economy,many people including myself have discovered that what was “working”well before,may have gone through a radical shift.  The news is not all bad.  In fact it may be the best thing that has happened for most of us.

For many years the words great thought leaders like Deepak Chopra and Dr. Wayne Dyer and  have replayed themselves in my mind on the subject of doing what you love.  Replaying them  for you here,consider the following:

• What it is that you love to do so much that you would do it for free?
• What brings you so much joy that when you are involved with it time seems to stand still?
• Looking back over your life and circumstances what has your journey taught you,that now makes you uniquely qualified to benefit others?

I invite you to pause here to grab a pen and a blank sheet of paper and take a few minutes to actually STOP and answer those questions for yourself.  If you are wondering how do you make money with this…it starts by getting the money issue out of the way first so You can get to YOU.  You will be able to allow the money to flow more freely to you when you first find out what is more authentic for you to be doing.

Now,many years later that message seems to be more resounding than ever. How many of us have been so busy doing our “jobs”or “chasing”money as entrepreneurs that we are spending very little time actually doing what we love?  Or even worse…what if we forgot what that even was? 

A little over a year ago a friend of mine,who knows that I like all the “woo woo”and “spiritual”stuff noticed that I was at a place of transition in my life and he invited me to call a lady named Sharon,that he referred to as a “Fairy Wrangler”.  She does readings by working with worlds of Angels and Elementals.  His conviction was so strong,based on his own experience,that he said “Brent,just call her.”  Well I did.  The conversation was one of those where time did seem like it was standing still.  The information shared was timeless and the effect on my life was immediate clarity and excitement about my present and future.

What ties all of this together is that the essential message was similar to the one shared by Deepak and Dyer years before.  So I’ll pose it to you here:  Forgetting about the money,what would be FUN for you to do right now?  What would give you the most excitement and joy?  What is interesting when I ask this question of others,many of them have not actually considered the answer to that question for themselves in such a long time,that they could not come up with an immediate answer.

So if that is you,let me give you some assistance.  Let’s say that right now I am giving you a “Magic Wand”.  All you financial matters are completely taken care of. You have no income concerns what so ever.

• Now,what would you like to do for yourself,that is FUN?
• With the freedom to do anything that you wish,what FEELS EXCITING that you would most like to do?
• Now let those images and feelings come up and notice what is there for you.

What I’ve learned is that We as “Spiritual Beings”are guided by feelings of love,fun and excitement.  But the practical side of us has been so busy “Doing”,that we have forgotten to tap into our feelings of “Being”.  I invite you to consider the answers for yourself without any thoughts of the money.  What becomes almost magical,when you allow it,is that you are guided to start participating in your life purpose.  You begin to discover what it is that you “Are Here For”.  That can be more than one thing. It can be a wondrous adventure with an infinite variety of joys that await you.

So what else can you do to discover your purpose in life? I found the following information from www.StevePavlina.com that I feel that you will enjoy.

“While there are many ways to do this,some of them fairly involved,here is one of the simplest that anyone can do. The more open you are to this process,and the more you expect it to work,the faster it will work for you. But not being open to it or having doubts about it or thinking it’s an entirely idiotic and meaningless waste of time won’t prevent it from working as long as you stick with it — again,it will just take longer to converge.

Here’s what to do:

1. Take out a blank sheet of paper or open up a word processor where you can type (I prefer the latter because it’s faster).
2. Write at the top,“What is my true purpose in life?”
3. Write an answer (any answer) that pops into your head. It doesn’t have to be a complete sentence. A short phrase is fine.
4. Repeat step 3 until you write the answer that makes you cry. This is your purpose.

That’s it. It doesn’t matter if you’re a counselor or an engineer or a bodybuilder. To some people this exercise will make perfect sense. To others it will seem utterly stupid. Usually it takes 15-20 minutes to clear your head of all the clutter and the social conditioning about what you think your purpose in life is. The false answers will come from your mind and your memories. But when the true answer finally arrives,it will feel like it’s coming to you from a different source entirely.”
